Purpose and Scope
Reporting to the General Manager (GM), the Head, Operation splays a critical role in shaping and executing our company’s strategic vision and working closely with the VALUE Delivery and VALUE Enablement Team and GM to ensure cross-functional resources and systems are aligned to the priorities of the company and CSP21 goals.
The Head, Operations is responsible for assisting the VALUE Delivery Team and the GM in identifying business opportunities to maximize brand performance through Growth Strategy initiatives, driving industry-leading customer engagement including digital transformation and omnichannel engagement through omnichannel cycle plans, supporting the development of annual brand operational plans, embedding Brands@Centre new ways of working to support the executions and tracking of key initiatives, driving the commercial success of new product launches and managing and monitoring company dashboards: marketing & sales operation, market intelligence, pricing & rebate and discount, patients assistant initiative (PAI), incentive compensation including sales budget development, bringing expertise and depth to diff Go-To-Market (GTM) model across the length and breadth of Customer Excellence, Launch Excellence and Partnership models and shaping the future of our organization, unlocking endless possibilities that can create a lasting impact on patients' lives and deliver VALUE to patients.

Experience
- Holds a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Medical Sciences or related fields
- 8-10+ years work experience in pharma sector – new product launch experience is required
- Has 3-5+ years of experience as a people manager with a good track record in consistently delivering results
- At least 1-2 years working experience with Veeva - Sales force & medical CRM, Veeva Vault platforms - proven experience in digital platforms, contents, training, change management
- Has applied & delivered results through closed-loop marketing, e- detailing, web/mobile solutions & social media - leveraging customer understanding and insights
- Expert in digital content management – creation, format, fitment, performance marketing
- Digitally savvy person with excellent project management and communication skills
- Strong understanding & representation of market data & ability to generate actionable insights for business
- Core sales & marketing background / contract & tender management experience / Specialized training in data analytics, digital transformation will be an added advantage
- Ability to identify and articulate sales opportunities and risks
- Strong stakeholder management and the ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with senior management, diverse cross-functional as well as cross country teams
- Being able to work independently with minimal guidance, determine own priorities and monitor resources within own work
- Good communication – oral, written and presentation and negotiation skills
- Has Good Command of written and spoken in English and local language

This position is based in Thailand (Bangkok areas) and will require on-site work.

Role and Responsibilities 1
1. Strategic Leadership and Planning
- Commercial Strategy Development: Lead the creation and execution of commercial strategies for in-market and new products, including market access plans, pricing strategies, and market positioning.
- Market Analysis: Conduct comprehensive market research and competitive analysis to identify market opportunities, unmet needs, and potential barriers to product success.
- Launch Planning: Develop and oversee detailed launch plans that include market entry strategies, lifecycle management, and long-term growth plans for company products.
2. Launch Excellence
- End-to-End Launch Management: Oversee all phases of product launches, from initial market readiness assessments to post-launch performance evaluations.
- Cross-functional Leadership: Collaborate with medical affairs, regulatory affairs, marketing, sales, and supply chain teams to ensure alignment and successful execution of launch plans.
- Project Management: Direct and manage launch projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and meet all predefined objectives.
3. Operational Efficiency
- Process Optimization: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of commercial operations and product launches.
- Performance Monitoring: Establish regular platform for tracking project progress (including PAI programs) /brand’s key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of commercial initiatives and exchanging feedback/best practices.
- Resource Allocation: Oversee the allocation of resources for commercial operations and product launches, ensuring optimal utilization for maximum impact.

4. Team Leadership and Development
- Leadership and Mentoring: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of commercial professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Training Programs: Work with GM & CLT and OPEX Lead to assess, understand and leverage key capabilities (Champions) among VALUE Delivery team to collaboratively plan and roll out projects/initiatives including training programs. Develop and implement training programs for all ATH team members to enhance their skills and knowledge in commercial operations and launch excellence.
5. Stakeholder Management
- Internal Stakeholder Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact between INT-C/APAC and ATH VALUE Delivery Team for Customer Excellence projects/initiatives and represent ATH’s interest by providing relevant input and perspective to INT-C/APAC promptly, enabling escalation and rapidly resolving issues where appropriate.
- External Partnerships: Build and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including healthcare professionals, key opinion leaders, vendors and industry partners, to support product success.

6. Data and Digital Excellence
- Customer Engagement: Identify and influence business/marketing objectives with scalable, innovative digital solutions across multiple brands/therapies. Establish & advocate omnichannel marketing across sales & marketing teams driving stronger implementation of Veeva CRM and other relevant IT platforms and ensure good adoption by all the users in ATH.
- Digital Content Strategy: Understand strategic imperatives for each business unit - design & execute short to mid-term digital/omnichannel based projects to deliver results. Lead digital content strategy & improve utilization of Veeva/other digital platforms (e.g. Onomi) and processes. Lead implementation & roll out of key e-marketing & social-media based marketing projects in collaboration with commercial/medical team.
- Capabilities Building and Compliance: Support marketing capability development in Digital knowledge & skills for expertise in orchestration of media, channel & tactics. Develop & implement customer experience linked KPIs within policy & governance framework to establish ATH as a customer centric organization. Ensure that all digital activities comply with relevant pharmaceutical regulations, industry standards, and ethical guidelines.
7. Risk Management and Compliance
- Risk Assessment: Identify potential risks related to commercial strategies, PAI schemes/programs, product launches and develop risk mitigation plans.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all commercial activities, PAI programs and product launches comply with relevant pharmaceutical regulations, industry standards, PReMA Code and ethical guidelines.
