Purpose and Scope

The Brand Lead exists to own the transplant portfolio’s strategy and business results, delivering both financial and non-financial KPIs outcomes through disciplined, insight-driven planning and execution. The role uniquely integrates cross-functional leadership, KEE/stakeholder influence, and compliant omnichannel activation to extend market leadership and accelerate sustainable, value-based growth.

Role and Responsibilities

  •  Lead end-to-end brand strategy and annual brand planning, grounded in market insights, customer needs, and competitive dynamics.
  • Translate strategy into actionable tactical plans and lead Brand Charter execution in partnership with cross-functional teams.
  • Deliver financial performances for assigned portfolio in line with business commitments (at all financial cycles).
  • Monitor performance drivers and continuously optimize resource allocation and ROI.
  • Protect brand leadership through clear differentiation and strong account strategies, including exclusivity and key account priorities and accelerate sustainable growth through differentiation and value-driven customer adoption.
  • Partner with stakeholders to reinforce treatment pathways, protocols, and institutional support with innovation.
  • Act as the brand expert and credible partner to key external experts (KEEs) and relevant stakeholders.
  • Plan and participate in strategic customer engagements, including joint field visits, advisory discussions, and scientific/educational interactions.
  • Equip Sales with clear guidance, insights, and effective promotional tools to drive focused execution in prioritized accounts.
  • Track effectiveness of campaigns and activities; convert insights into improvement actions.
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives and projects (including external vendors) to improve patient care and system readiness, with disciplined planning, budgeting, and delivery.
  • Champion agile ways of working to accelerate execution speed and cross-team alignment.

Continue:Role and Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement digital/virtual engagement initiatives aligned with brand strategy and omnichannel priorities.
  • Ensure strong coordination with PS&T/SFE to optimize customer engagement and field impact.
    Own tactical budget planning and tracking (A&P), ensuring accurate reporting and proactive risk management.
  • Ensure strong governance across planning, approval, implementation, and post-activity review.
  • Ensure full compliance with internal SOPs and external codes (e.g., PReMA), including VEEVA/VEM requirements, documentation readiness, and training completion.
  • Role-model integrity and actively promote a culture of ethical engagement.

Essential Qualifications

  • Holds a bachelor’s degree in pharmacy, Medical Sciences or related fields
  •  Has 3-5+ years of experience as a sales/medical representative with a good track record in consistently delivering results
  •  Has 1-3 years’ marketing and/or brand management experience.
  •  Able to communicate clearly, concisely, and effectively with others, both one-on-one and in a group to drive the business forward
  •  Strategic leadership – ability to drive both short and long-term brand growth and profitability
  •  Sound analytical and problem-solving skills
  •  Sound understanding or qualifications in marketing related principles.
  •  Sound analytical skills – ability to translate analysis into insights, sustainable strategies, and actionable plans
    • Ability to work independent as well as a team
  •  Has Good Knowledge Microsoft Office and Window based computer applications.
  •  Has Good Command of written and spoken in English.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong leadership with customer and good interpersonal skill.
  •  Good Self-control and able to work under pressure.
  •  Ability to make decisions and response to solve problems immediately and effectively.
  •  Knowledge of the country’s healthcare market, policies, future development plans, trends and devising appropriate action plans
  •  Has 3-5+ years of pharmaceutical experience, Nephrology or Transplant experience will be advantage
  •  Post-graduate degree in marketing/management will be advantage.
