Purpose and Scope
Achieve hospital access and product listing/adoption targets, and build strong collaborative relationships with key accounts.
Role and Responsibilities
Regional Key Account Strategy Execution
- Support the National KA Head to execute the regional KA plan, translating strategy into measurable action plans for the assigned region.
- Analyze regional market dynamics and policies; provide insights and recommendations to refine KA strategy.
- Gather and pre-analyze key intelligence during execution; give real-time updates to the KA Central Team and B@C; track progress and adjust actions promptly.
Project Management
- Build and execute KA project/activity plans aligned with regional KA strategy.
- Own end-to-end project management to ensure on-time delivery and target achievement.
- Evaluate results, capture learnings, and drive continuous improvement.
Key Account and Resource Management
- Partner with SFE and KA Central Team to define target hospitals and manage CRM, ensuring focus on priority accounts and long-term partnerships.
- Optimize regional resource allocation based on business needs.
- Conduct regular customer visits to identify needs and coordinate tailored solutions and academic activities.
- Serve as the key regional coordination contact, enabling efficient communication across internal functions to support KA strategy and drive cross-team execution.
- Comply with the company Code of Conduct and all applicable compliance policies.
Continue:Role and Responsibilities
Performance Management
- Deliver listing/access targets for regional priority hospitals.
- Drive sustainable operation and performance in target hospitals across the region.
- Lead/own key strategic initiatives (e.g., NRDL execution, new launch readiness) to ensure national strategy implementation regionally.
Cross-department Collaboration
- Build regular cross-functional communication cadence to share market updates and KA plans; provide timely progress on listing and sustainability of target hospitals.
- Integrate and maximize internal resources to accelerate execution.
Team Management
- Conduct regular joint field visits with KAMs to manage key accounts; coach and remove barriers to achieve regional targets.
- Ensure compliant promotion practices; continuously develop KAM capabilities and support talent attraction, retention, and development.
Essential Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's degree or above; a graduate from a university with a major in Business Administration, Medical, Pharmaceutics, or a related field is preferred.
Knowledge & Skills
- Possess in-depth knowledge of medical, pharmaceutical, or health economics related to the company's current product portfolio.
- Familiar with management and operational mechanisms of the pharmaceutical industry.
- Capable of gaining insights into key account needs and establishing long-term partnership with enterprise-level external stakeholders
- Strong business acumen, adaptability, and data analysis skills.
- Excellent communication skills and interpersonal relationship management abilities.
- Energetic, responsible, hardworking, with strong execution, passionate, and willing to embrace challenges.
Experience
- Possess 7-8 years of work experience in the medical or pharmaceutical field, with an outstanding track record of past performance.
- Have successful hands-on experience in hospital listing, familiar with the entire process from target setting to successful inclusion; candidates with RKA experience in MNCs are preferred.
- Demonstrated deep key account management experience, capable of independently planning and executing customer strategies.
- Have experience in cross-departmental complex project collaboration and the ability to navigate major policy changes in the pharmaceutical industry.
