This position is based in Mexico City (Santa Fe area) and will require on-site work in a hybrid set up.

Purpose and Scope
This Gen AI Adoption and Transformation Specialists position is dedicated to a priority program within Astellas, called the Gen AI POD. The Gen AI POD is responsible for evaluating, implementing, maintaining, and owning enterprise level Gen AI tools, both internal built products and licensed vendor products.
As a Gen AI Adoption and Transformation Specialists, you will be a crucial player in driving our digital initiatives forward in our agile organization. Our agile operating model consists of two components – Digital Capability and Digital Execution. Digital Execution is about aligning multiple missions around business goals and facilitating collaboration on a larger scale. Digital Capability, on the other hand, focuses on the growth and development of individuals within a specific expertise area. This dual structure enables us to scale agile practices efficiently while maintaining a focus on both product development and individual skill enhancement.
As a Gen AI Adoption and Transformation Specialists, you will lead organizational transformation initiatives for Agentic AI and Gen AI products for our organization. This role involves a blend of technical expertise, business acumen, and understanding of current Agentic AI trends, capabilities, and limitations. You will ensure smooth adoption of new processes, tools, and technologies. You will use your knowledge, expertise, and quick learning to stay ahead and teach others the value of these new AI tools. This role focuses on the people side of adoptions and transformation – driving engagement, minimizing resistance, and enabling successful transformation aligned with Gen AI POD objectives. The evolving use and future opportunities bring a lot of variety in your day-to-day job.
Role and Responsibilities
Adoption and Transformation Strategy & Planning
- Develop and execute adoption and transformation strategies for POD initiatives.
- Conduct impact assessments and readiness evaluations for new solutions
- Create detailed change plans integrated with project timelines.
Communication & Engagement
- Design and deliver communication plans to keep stakeholders informed.
- Organize workshops, roadshows, and training sessions to drive adoption.
- Establish and manage change champion networks within POD teams.
User Adoption & Training
- Develop materials and programs to support user onboarding and digital fluency.
- Monitor adoption metrics and implement corrective actions where needed.
- Partner with product owners to align training with business goals.
Governance & Continuous Improvement
- Ensure compliance with organizational change policies and frameworks.
- Track and report change progress to POD leadership.
- Identify lessons learned and embed best practices for future initiatives
Essential Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s in Business, Organizational Development, or related field
- Experience: 3–5 years in change management, digital transformation, user adoption, or organizational development, ideally in digital transformation contexts.
- Experience with Agentic AI, Gen AI, and AI products (e.g. Copilot, Moveworks, ChatGPT) and leading adoption and transformation for these tools.
- Familiarity with change management methodologies (e.g., ADKAR, PROSCI).
- Proficiency in collaboration tools (Teams, SharePoint) and reporting dashboards.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to influence and build trust across diverse teams.
- Analytical mindset with problem-solving capabilities.
