Working Environment and Location

This position is based in Mexico City (Santa Fe area) and will require on-site work in a hybrid set up.

Purpose and Scope

Seeking an experienced and results-oriented Communications Enablement Specialist to join the Strategy and Operations team under Communications and Investor Relations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for communication support tasks including graphic design and video editing, content development/adaptation, tactical execution, virtual and live events coordination and production, cross-functional project management for assigned activities, and vital document upkeep and oversight.

 

This role will be part of the Production Hub where you will provide support for the CIR team. This includes support for both internal and external engagement activities that build corporate reputation. You will provide communications support using various tools and processes to drive efficiency and alignment in support of all CIR sub-divisions and teams.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Support development and execution of communication materials for delivery across a range of channels (including presentations, social and digital collateral)
  • Design capability within Adobe Creative Suite
  • Basic video editing skills, using Adobe Premiere Pro, Clip Champ, or other platforms.
  • Copywriting and copyediting of content consistent with our Editorial Style Guide
  • Support existing communication reviews processes, including PromoMats and other CIR reviews activities
  • Support the upkeep of distribution lists in our distribution list platform
  • Support digital and social channel management (including the intranet, internet, Viva Engage etc)
  • Program, test and distribute emails within our established email platform, Staffbase
  • Ensure the Communications Planning Calendar is always up-to-date with planned activities
  • Leverage existing templates, tools, guidance documents and Gen AI to efficiently and consistently execute tasks
  • Support planning and delivery of internal events (virtual/hybrid/face to face), including technical production of virtual and hybrid events
  • Lead or contribute to special projects, research requests, or troubleshooting as assigned.
  • Other projects as assigned based upon skill sets, capabilities and capacity

Essential Qualifications

  • Fluent writing and speaking skills in English
  • Eye for detail and quality – able to easily spot errors or inconsistencies
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and activities without missing deadlines
  • Positive, customer-service oriented approach to assignments and requests from all stakeholders
  • Entrepreneurial spirit – seeking out answers or solutions without significant oversight
  • Flexibility and agility – being able to adapt to changing priorities quickly
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft software, including SharePoint, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, and Forms
  • Graphic design and basic video editing capabilities within Adobe Creative Suite
  • Team player – being willing to offer help when able and ask for help when needed
  • Courage to bring forward ideas that challenge the status quo and foster a culture of continuous improvement
  • Social/digital communication experience & skills
  • BS or BA Degree or equivalent in journalism, communications, art/design, or related field
