Purpose and Scope

The Sales Force Effectiveness Senior Associate supports the Commercial Excellence function in ensuring salesforce effectiveness and operational efficiency across omnichannel activities. This role is primarily responsible for maintaining and optimizing CRM data quality, supporting sales team performance analytics, and providing operational and analytical support for digital channels and the overall omnichannel experience. The position combines analytical rigor with strong administrative discipline to enhance commercial execution and omnichannel operations at the affiliate level.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Salesforce Effectiveness (≈70%)
    • Provide administrative and operational support for the Veeva CRM platform and its ecosystem, ensuring compliance with Astellas data governance policies.
    • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to deliver actionable insights and support data-driven decision-making for commercial teams.
    • Support the operationalization of Omnichannel Cycle Plans and territory alignments, maximizing field coverage and customer segmentation effectiveness.
    • Perform data stewardship activities including validation, quality control, and timely updates of customer and activity data.
    • Conduct salesforce performance analyses to identify productivity trends, efficiency gaps, and improvement opportunities.
    • Train and support sales representatives on the use of Veeva CRM, including enhancements, new functionalities, and additional field tools; prepare training materials, guidelines, and quick reference documents.
    • Collaborate with global and regional CRM teams for the implementation of new releases, issue resolution, and process improvements.
    • Ensure full compliance with information security, privacy, and corporate governance standards.

 

Field Force Client Service (≈30%)

    • Act as primary point of contact for the Field force reps supporting CRM technical inquiries and training 

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Economics, Marketing, or related field.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in Salesforce Effectiveness, CRM administration (preferably Veeva), or data analytics.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to translate data into actionable commercial insights.
  • Proficiency in Excel and reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar).
  • Knowledge of omnichannel operations and digital channels.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
  • English proficiency (intermediate or higher).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
  • Hands-on experience with Veeva CRM and Veeva Events Management or equivalent systems.
  • Familiarity with sales cycle planning, segmentation, and performance tracking frameworks.
  • Understanding of data governance and compliance standards.
  • Experience collaborating with global or regional teams in a matrix organization.
