Purpose and Scope
To ensure the achievement of sales objectives in the assigned territory by promoting the product gynecology to healthcare professionals. This involves communicating the product's features, advantages, and benefits to position Veoza as the first-choice treatment for vasomotor symptoms, benefiting a greater number of Mexican women undergoing this stage of life. The goal is to professionally represent Astellas in all aspects and ensure high levels of satisfaction among both external and internal clients.
Role and Responsibilities
- Conduct a comprehensive analysis of the assigned territory, including geographical boundaries, socio-demographic characteristics such as the socioeconomic level of the population, working hours and consultation hours of healthcare professionals, available medical infrastructure, prescription patterns, and age distribution of the population. This approach will enable a deep understanding of local dynamics and facilitate the design of more effective promotion and sales strategies tailored to the specific needs and conditions of each area.
- Acquire an in-depth understanding of the symptoms of climacteric syndrome and the relevant aspects for women in this stage of life, as well as the characteristics of the product Veoza and its direct and indirect competitors. This level of understanding will enable high-level conversations with healthcare professionals, leading to their recognition of the laboratory, the Veoza brand, and its collaborators, thereby strengthening the position in the market and confidence in the efficacy and safety of the product.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of your medical file and the pharmaceutical landscape in your assigned territory, with clear segmentation based on the potential and influence of healthcare professionals and pharmacies. This involves strategically investing time and resources in those healthcare professionals and pharmaceutical establishments that can benefit a greater number of Mexican women suffering from vasomotor symptoms, ensuring an effective and targeted approach to maximize Veoza's impact on the market.
- Possess the ability to convey the benefits of Veoza to healthcare professionals with impact and clarity, professionally managing key messages and positioning generated by the marketing, market research, Sales Manager, and strategic areas of Astellas. However, it is crucial to adapt these strategies to the particularities of each territory, ensuring effective communication that takes into account the unique characteristics of each local market.
- Ensure compliance with established key performance indicators (KPIs), always prioritizing the achievement of sales objectives according to the assigned quota, in order to benefit a greater number of women. Meeting the agreed minimum KPI coverage is fundamental, but the main focus should be on achieving tangible sales results that positively impact the health and well-being of more women.
- In addition to implementing marketing strategies, it is crucial to continuously gather feedback on the specific needs of each territory. This involves developing local strategies that have an immediate impact on the results of each region, thus maximizing the return on investment.

- Maintain strong relationships with opinion leaders in each territory and with high-potential doctors is of utmost importance. Constantly seek opportunities to develop the relationship between representatives, sales managers, and marketing with these key stakeholders, resulting in a greater number of women benefiting and facilitating the implementation of new strategies.
- Ensure the implementation of strategies both nationally and locally in pharmacies, through management tailored to the individual needs of each. This will guarantee the accessibility of Veoza at each point of sale, facilitating both prescription and acquisition of the product by patients.
- Administrative work plays a fundamental role in tracking actions taken and designing more effective strategies that benefit the results. Therefore, it is crucial to stay up-to-date with KPIs, reports, and relevant information from routes, which will allow for informed and timely decision-making to optimize performance and maximize the impact of implemented strategies.
- It is imperative to constantly stay within the regulatory framework established by Astellas, local laws, and our compliance policy. All our activities must always be regulated, as there is no way to act outside of these norms.
Required Qualifications:
- Industry experience: A proven track record in the pharmaceutical industry, with a deep understanding of the market.
- Negotiation skills: Ability to negotiate and close deals with prescribing physicians, using persuasive techniques and solid arguments based on data and scientific evidence.
- Strategic focus: Capacity to develop and implement effective promotion strategies that maximize market impact and lead to the achievement of sales objectives.
- Analytical: Ability to analyze sales and market data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Interpersonal relationships: Ability to establish and maintain solid relationships with physicians, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals, building long-term trust and credibility.
- Leadership: Capacity to lead initiatives and collaborate with other team members to achieve common goals.
- Ethics and compliance: Commitment to the highest ethical and regulatory compliance standards in all activities carried out.
