Working Environment and Location

• This is a Student placement position, must be in 3rd year of relevant level 7 course.
• This position is based in Kilorglin, Ireland and requires you to be fully onsite. 
• Placement run’s from Jan 27 – Aug 27.

Purpose and Scope

This role will provide projects and operations support to the Facilities Engineering department in Kerry. Works with guidance from Engineers and Technicians in the Facilities Department.  The Student Co-Op will be working in a GMP regulated environment. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Supporting system engineering owners on systems such as Cleanrooms, HVAC, water and steam systems.  These systems include GMP and Non-GMP systems.
• Supporting the Facilities department in various areas – attending meetings, participating in root cause analysis as the need arises with facilities and cross functional teams.
• Project support – team participation in small to large projects.  Design, Install and commissioning activities including validation activities as directed.
• Providing drawing and CAD support in design and drawing updates.
• Develop operational / maintenance procedures with engineers and technicians. Assist with maintenance tasks.
• Participate and own areas of the Facilities areas, such as participating in the 5S program.

Essential Qualifications

• Studying for a Bachelor Degree in a Science/Engineering or equivalent discipline.
