Working Environment and Location

• Position is based in Killorglin, Ireland.
• This position is fully onsite.

Purpose and Scope

• This is a student placement position, must be in 3rd year of relevant level 7 course.
• Placement run’s from Jan 27 – Aug 27.
• To ensure the security and integrity of company assets, to process payments and record activities under strict Accounting Principles and Internal Controls and to provide quality financial information to all our customers.

Role and Responsibilities

• Asset & Investment Management – Create sub-investment orders in SAP, maintain the fixed asset register, check report calculations, and post miscellaneous journals.
• Management Accounting Support – Assist with business partnering queries, PO amendments/closures, JSOX audit reviews, and ad hoc reports and analysis.
• Tax & Compliance – Review tax-related accounts and prepare tax and other government reports.
• Month-End & Production Accounting – Assist with pre-costing journals and track monthly production volumes and hours.
• Stock & Inventory – Produce stock reports and support the annual stock count.
• Accounts Payable – Monitor AP inbox queries, prepare invoices for scanning, manage QM notifications, and process intra-netting activities and queries.

Essential Qualifications

• Studying a third level qualification in a Finance/Accounting discipline
