• This position is full time 
• This position is a 2 year graduate role starting early September 2027 

Purpose and Scope

The Finance Graduate will work under the supervision of the Management Accountant to gain experience and knowledge in key areas areas including Management Accounting & Reporting, Business partnering with relevant departments on financial matters, Cross system reconciliation with Financial Accounting and International Business teams, Preparation of relevant information for Financial Consolidation pack, Budgeting and Standard costing

Role and Responsibilities

The Finance Graduate will work under the supervision of the Management Accountant to gain experience and knowledge in the following areas:

Product Costing

• Assist in the calculation and release of Standard Costs
• Shadow end to end ownership of month end costing process
• Assist in the preparation of monthly manufacturing variance analysis
• Attendance at Business Partnering with the manufacturing and supply chain teams to explain production variances
• Assist with the cost roll up of new products throughout the year via QM notification on SAP
• Assist with calculation of Contract Manufacturing True Ups
• Assist in the maintenance of CO data in SAP.

Budgeting & Forecasting

• Provide support in the preparation of Expense Budget/Forecasts in conjunction with Business partners.
• Provide support in the preparation of product costs and stock information for inclusion in AICL Strategic plan, annual budget and interim forecasts.
• Assist in the review of Budgeted Hours V Shift/Overtime plans.

• Provide support in the preparation of budget & forecast reporting packs

Inventory Accounting

• Assist in the management of the Inventory Accounting process to include inventory valuation and provisions
• Assist in Annual stock take and review of monthly stock count with Warehouse, Planning and Production and External Auditors
• Provide support in tracking and reporting Waste/Scrap
• Assist Financial Accounting Function on inventory valuations and COGS for Consolidation packs

Other

• Support the Continuous improvement culture and participate in the implementation of process improvements and efficiencies
• Provide support to other Departments on Performance Improvement projects at Kerry plant.
• Assist in the preparation of financial information for internal and external auditors.
• Assist with the clearing and maintenance of GR/IR Account (monthly)
• Assist with the calculation of Std Unit KPI for monthly management meeting
• Work closely with MA team in Kerry/Dublin to align and provide cover as necessary
• Active participation in ad-hoc projects

Essential Qualifications

• Must have finished a relevant Bachelor Degree or equivalent in time for a September 2027 start date
• Knowledge of accepted accounting practices and principles
• Excellent Excel skills, proficient in Word & PowerPoint
