Purpose and Scope

The Market Access & Tender Manager plays a dual role in supporting both market access initiatives and tender execution. This position is responsible for maintaining and updating the status of key accounts and key stakeholders in the Southern region, developing strong relationships with decision-makers and KOLs, and coordinating tender-related sales activities. Additionally, the role provides comprehensive support to the Market Access & Government Affairs (MAx/GA) team to enhance patient access and contribute to the company’s strategic goals.

  • Bachelor’s degree on Pharmaceutical
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in pharmaceuticals industry
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in Tender or Market Access field
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with KOLs and key decision-makers in Service of Health and HCM social securities.
  • Strong negotiation skills, business acumen, and analytical thinking.
  • Ability to influence internal and external stakeholders across all levels.
  • Solid understanding of pharmaceutical policies application in Vietnam, especially in pricing, procurement, and reimbursement systems.
  • Familiarity with HTA structure and requirements in Vietnam.
  • Proficient in project management with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively under pressure.
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills, with strong attention to detail.
  • Effective communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Strong command of Microsoft Office tools.
  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree/ Project management is preferred.

Role and Responsibilities 1

Tender & Hospital Access

  1. Develop and implement access strategies to list assigned products in key public hospitals.
  2. Coordinate tender submission and execution with relevant internal stakeholders (e.g., Phyto team).
  3. Maintain accurate hospital mapping and regularly update hospital coverage and tender status.
  4. Monitor tender environment and analyze competitor activity at key accounts and SOHs.
  5. Build and maintain strong relationships with KOLs and decision-makers in public institutions.

Pricing & Reimbursement

  1. Support to prepare and submit pricing dossiers for price negotiation and listing.
  2. Support HTA/NLED submissions for new product inclusion into reimbursement lists.
  3. Coordinate with Finance for FIE price declaration dossiers when needed.
  4. Ensure timely and accurate updates of internal pricing systems (e.g., e-pricing).

Role and Responsibilities 2

Market Access Planning & Execution

  1. Develop and execute market access plans for new product launches and brand strategies.
  2. Apply pricing strategies (value-based, market-based) to support market entry and product lifecycle management.
  3. Execute MAx/GA activities such as stakeholder engagement events, advisory boards, training, and advocacy initiatives.

Strategic Stakeholder & Cross-functional Collaboration

  1. Contribute to key account strategies and collaborate across functions (Marketing, Sales, Regulatory, Medical) to align access efforts.
  2. Engage with external partners, industry associations, and policy bodies to shape access-friendly policies.
  3. Participate in internal working groups to address access challenges and propose practical solutions.

  1. Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Head of Market Access & Government Affairs.
