Purpose and Scope

Oncology is the growth engine of Astellas Korea. Efficient life cycle management of Oncology brand is critical for both the Oncology Business Unit and Astellas Korea. The Oncology Product Manager will lead the brand and orchestrate cross-functional collaboration to achieve short- and long-term brand objectives

Required Qualifications

Bachelors Degree

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in biology, chemistry and pharmacy. Master’s degree and MBA and others.
  • Experience in oncology as a MR and Marketer
  • Fluent in English

Experience

  • Minimum 6 years marketing experiences (incl. Oncology Marketing ) in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Bachelor’s degree

 

  • Proven analytical, project management, and budget management skills.
  • Strong project management skills including planning, documenting, communicating, and delivering the end result on-time and within budget while adhering to the initial strategic direction.
  • Strong presentation skill to buy in business plan or program to senior management and customers.
  • Understand and interpretate scientific / medical data for medical tactic development.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.
  • Proficient with Microsoft applications (Word, Excel and Powerpoint).

Location

  • This position is based in Astellas Korea and will require on-site work.

Role and Responsibilities 1

  • Set business objective of the brand aligning with understanding company strategic direction and ensure to achieve it.
  • Ensure achievement of brand’s and company’s key performance indicators with high accuracy of business anticipation through market and brand insights.
  • Establish marketing strategies and plan through identification & understanding of market, customer, and environment.  (mid / long term / annual / every half year)
  • Identify appropriate resources to support brand marketing strategies and activities.
  • Plan / Develop / Execute / Improve brand initiatives that are aligned with key strategy & deliver business objectives to achieve desired business result.
  • Lead the cross-functional brand team to co-create brand planning and execution of brand initiatives by mobilizing internal stakeholders with open / clear communication and collaboration
  • Identify market information including risks and opportunities through marketing action plan implementation and consultation with MTL (Medical Thought Leader)
  • Supply and demand management
  • Fully understand local SOPs & Code of Conduct and adhere to all relevant regulations.
