• This position is onsite in Seoul, Korea.

Purpose and Scope

• Provide medical and scientific expertise to support affiliate Medical Affairs deliverables and cross-functional initiatives.
• Build and maintain strong partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure MA activities meet local needs and enhance scientific understanding of Astellas products across their lifecycle.
• Engage with external stakeholders to strengthen understanding of pipeline compounds, product use, and related disease areas. Independently manage KEE relationships without oversight from the TA Head or Affiliate Head of Medical Affairs.

Role and Responsibilities

• Understand External Environment and Data Gaps: Demonstrate thorough understanding of the therapeutic area, it’s current status, unmet needs and future developments.
• Translate Insights into Strategies and Activities: Identify the unmet needs and develop suitable brand strategy as well ensure a compliant execution of all Affiliate Medical/Scientific activities.
• Co-lead the Brand Team: Drive brand strategy and direction, while fostering a collaborative mindset and leading cross-functional teamwork

Essential Qualifications

• Medically qualified (MD,PharmD or equally qualified, PhD)
• Substantial experience in Pharma,
• Proven experience in Medical Affairs is a must

Preferred Qualifications

• Demonstrated good collaboration skills working within cross-functional team.
