Working Environment and Location
- The role offers a hybrid work model, combining remote and on-site work in alignment with company policies. It will require global travel to support strategic & tactical initiatives and ensure collaboration across regions & functions, as well as travel to engage with key external stakeholders.
Purpose and Scope
The Global Marketing Lead, INTC is a key strategic role within the Global Brand Strategy & Marketing team, responsible for developing and executing global marketing strategies and tactics, in particular for INTC markets to achieve the full potential of the product. This role provides disease/indication-related insights, manages the brand planning cycle, and ensures alignment with global and affiliate marketing efforts. The position is instrumental in maximizing market potential through commercial innovation, competitive differentiation, patient access strategies & tactics, and execution excellence
Role and Responsibilities
Strategic Brand Leadership: Participate in the development and execution of comprehensive brand strategies, ensuring alignment across global, regional, and affiliate teams. Under the leadership of the Brand Strategy Lead, contribute to cross-functional co-creation of go-to-market strategies for INTC markets
Integrated Planning & Execution: Participate in the Annual Operational Planning, and Integrated Global Brand Plan in collaboration with cross-functional teams. Lead development of tactics and execution to drive customer adoption & activation to maximize brand share in INTC markets.
Market & Customer Insights: Synthesize inputs from internal and external stakeholders to shape brand strategies and optimize brand value over time. Uncover actionable patient, HCP and competitive insights, provide gap analysis and direction to Market Research in agreement with the Strategy Lead.
Launch Readiness & Execution: Develop and execute launch plans & tactics and core messaging. Develop comprehensive launch plans in collaboration with other functions using the launch excellence framework. Participate in launch readiness reviews for INTC markets to ensure launch readiness.
Continue:Role and Responsibilities
Stakeholder & KEE Engagement: Manage and improve engagement with Key External Experts (KEEs) and collaborate with Medical Affairs to generate insights and services.
Compliance & Governance: Ensure strict adherence to ethical standards, industry laws, and company policies, leading by example in compliance-related matters.
Coaching & Collaboration: Act as a mentor to affiliate teams, promoting best practices, knowledge-sharing, and strong cross-functional collaboration.
Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive commercial experience in the pharmaceutical sector.
- Strong background in global marketing or strong sales and marketing experience within a major market with a track record of driving measurable Outcomes. Experience in Ophthalmology is preferred.
- Expertise in strategic planning, brand management, and market execution.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement omni-channel marketing strategies & tactics.
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degree (MBA, Master’s, or equivalent preferred).
- Experience in companion diagnostics.
- Experience in related TAs
- Strong track record in stakeholder engagement, including KEE and cross-functional collaboration.
- Experience in tactical planning and execution of global marketing strategies and tactics.
