Purpose and Scope

Bring Astellas MISSION - Turn Innovative Science to VALUE for Patients in brand scientific base approach and market promotion. Identify patient pain points of building the partnership with key stakeholders in focused disease areas and deliver solid strategic and execution plan to optimize patient treatment journey. It is accountable for brand marketing plans which optimize profitability, market share and revenue growth in the short and long term.

Role and Responsibilities

Brand Strategy, Planning & Implementation:

  • Lead brand initiatives based on market insights and drive integrated brand plans.
  • Collaborate with Medical, KAM, and cross-functional partners to execute promotional strategies.

Sales Operations & Territory Management:

  • Promote assigned products and achieve territory sales goals.
  • Build long-term partnerships with HCPs and hospital stakeholders e
  • Collect customer insights, monitor competitor activities, and leverage BI tools for analysis.
  • Execute sales and promotional activities in alignment with national brand strategy.

Cross-functional Collaboration:

  • Work closely with Regulatory, Medical, KAM, and Market Access teams and other Astellas sales teams.
  • Provide customer insights to refine strategies and support business decisions.

Training & Compliance:

  • Complete mandatory product, medical, and sales certifications.
  • Ensure all activities comply with internal policies and external regulations

Essential Qualifications

  • Education: College degree or above; medical or pharmacy background preferred.
  • Skills: Sales and communication skills, analytical capability, interpersonal relationship management. Strategic thinking and analysis skills with strong business acumen.
  • Language: Fluent in English and Chinese for writing and communication
  • Culture Fit: Proactive, teamwork-oriented, integrity.
  • Experience: At least 5 year sales related or marketing related working experience
  • Oncology field working experience
  • Behaviors: Outcome focus, Act with urgency, Enterprise thinking, Proactive, Collaboration, Integrity

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advance degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Medicine, or Business; oncology specialization preferred.
  • 3–5 years of experience in pharma product management, with focus on oncology or hematology
    Strong knowledge of oncology market, treatment pathways, and clinical data.
  • Experience in cross-functional collaboration and product launches.
  • Analytical mindset with strategic thinking and communication skills
