Purpose and Scope

Bring Astellas’ mission, “Turning innovative science into value for patients,” into a strong, science-based brand approach and market promotion.

Identify patient pain points and build partnerships with key stakeholders in focused disease areas, while delivering a solid strategy and execution plan to optimize the patient treatment journey.

Develop, implement, and take accountability for brand marketing plans that optimize profitability, market share, and revenue growth in both the short and long term.

Role and Responsibilities

Brand Strategy Development, Planning & Implementation

  • Lead cross-functional brand team to deliver a high-quality integrated brand plan through deep market insights and a broad market overview.
  • Implement and execute marketing plans that overcome business obstacles, drive market share, and achieve sales targets.

 

 

 

Promotion of market strategy and cooperation

  • Transform marketing objectives/strategies and execution plans at the national level, and enhance sales team capability to meet market needs and internal criteria.
  • Work in close conjunction with the Omnichannel Strategy Lead to ensure alignment on strategy and implementation across multiple channels.

 

Development and management of key customers (KOLs)

  • Identify region-based KOLs and speaker lists from the pre-launch phase through to the launch phase. Share KOL insights with internal cross-functional teams regularly.
  • Work cross-functionally to create alignment across various internal and external stakeholders to meet overall brand goals.

Activities and resource management

  • Optimize resource allocation and appropriate activity types and frequency to achieve sales goals.
  • Ensure A&P budget spending accuracy by tracking and managing detailed budgets for responsible tactics.

Continue:Role and Responsibilities

  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in pharmaceutical sales or marketing.
  • Prior experience in oncology is highly preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree or above, preferably in Medicine, Pharmacy, or related fields.
  • Strong understanding of product management and pharmaceutical commercial operations.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Demonstrates key attributes such as results orientation, sense of urgency, enterprise mindset, proactiveness, collaboration, and integrity.
